Where to get the Shako Uber Unique in Diablo 4

Where is this rare item?

The Shako is one of the most iconic pieces of loot from Diablo 2, and it makes its return in Diablo 4. Here's how to maximize your opportunity to get your hands on one.

How to get the Shako in Diablo 4

The Shako, known as Harlequin Crest, doesn't have a set boss it drops from. Instead, you'll just have to hope you get lucky and it drops from a random enemy. You will have to be playing in World Tier 4, and they drop from level 85 enemies and up.

There's not a whole lot you can do outside of that, so just keep on killing mobs and hoping for the best. It might not be what you want to hear, but that's the way things have shaken out so far in Diablo 4. The Shako is so rare that a Blizzard developer had to come out and confirm the item exists.

Can you get the Shako from Diablo 4 Helltide Chests?

Yes, Helltide Chests can drop the Shako along with the five other Uber Unique items. There was a bug that was dropping them at a much higher rate than anticipated, and Blizzard confirmed 142 accounts were able to get their hands on one of these Uniques through this method.

The bug has since been hotfixed, but Blizzard says the chance remains to get a Shako and all other Uniques through these Helltide Chests. Keep in mind that when Seasons launch, you will have to start fresh with your gearing. Your current characters won't be going anywhere, but they just won't be able to participate in the seasonal content as it comes out.
