The Diablo series is one of Blizzard's main franchises, and Diablo IV is the latest entry. Players will once again be able to fight the evils of Hell and defend Sanctuary across the various areas. With Microsoft in the process of acquiring Blizzard, many may be wondering if Diablo IV will be on Game Pass.
Is Diablo IV on Game Pass?
The answer is no—Diablo IV will not be on Game Pass, at least not at launch. While Microsoft is in the process of acquiring Blizzard and Activision, it has not closed on the merger. As part of this deal, Microsoft intends to bring many Blizzard and Activision titles to the Game Pass, which may mean that Diablo IV will be on Game Pass.

There is no official confirmation, as Microsoft has not confirmed which titles from Blizzard and Activision will be added to the subscription service. Though Microsoft has stated it intends to add the Diablo series to Game Pass, we do not yet know which entry will be added.
If Diablo IV is added to Game Pass, Xbox and PC players can play the game for free as part of their subscription. Those on PlayStation will be left out of Game Pass and must purchase the title or themselves. It does feature cross-play, so all players can play together.
