Best Barbarian build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Judging by the leaderboards, the best Barbarian build for Season 28 so far appears to be one that utilizes The Legacy of Raekor set with Ancient Spear being the top damage dealer with the Boulder Toss rune. There are other viable builds for sure, but the ones that are pushing the highest Greatest Rifts all run a similar setup. Here's the rank one build setup.

  • Weapon Throw (Balanced Weapon)
  • Ancient Spear (Boulder Toss)
  • Battle Rage (Bloodshed)
  • Furious Charge
  • Ignore Pain (Iron Hide)
  • Wrath of the Berserker (Insanity)

Passives are an important part of a build, and there is some wiggle room when it comes to them. Obviously, playstyles vary and players could find different ways to compliment how they play, but these are the skills being used by the top player at the time of this writing.

  • Relentless
  • No Escape
  • Boon of Bul-Kathos
  • Rampage

Best Crusader build in Diablo 3 Season 28

When it comes to Crusaders, they are almost always the least popular class but that doesn't mean they can't be just as successful as the others. The most popular build so far is the Armor of Akkhan set, a set that a recent rework took from a middle of the road option to a meta choice. Here's the build the top player on the leaderboard is using.

  • Slash (Zeal)
  • Akarat's Champion (Rally)
  • Judgment (Debilitate)
  • Iron Skin (Flash)
  • Laws of Valor (Unstoppable Force)
  • Phalanx (Shield Bearers)

The passives are again a preference by the player, but anybody looking to copy the top player can do so by picking the following four options. Keep in mind that a lot of this revolves around having the right gear in place, so feel free to use different options until the build is complete.

  • Heavenly Strength
  • Finery
  • Holy Cause
  • Lord Commander

Best Demon Hunter build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Demon Hunters have traditionally been a popular class in Diablo 3, and things haven't changed going into Season 28. This class is an interesting one because at the time of this writing, the top player uses the Natalya's Vengeance set, but the majority of players on the leaderboard are utilizing the Embodiment of the Marauder set. It's clear that either of them can work, but we're going to look at the Marauder build as it's the one that's remained tried and true over the years.

  • Evasive Fire (Hardened)
  • Cluster Arrow (Loaded for Bear)
  • Vault (Tumble)
  • Companion (Wolf Companion)
  • Sentry (Polar Station)
  • Vengeance (Dark Heart)

Since this is a Sentry-focused build at heart, using passives that buff them will make the most sense in this scenario. Here's a look a four possible options to use.

  • Leech
  • Cull the Weak
  • Custom Engineering
  • Ambush

Best Monk build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Top Monk players in Season 28 aren't even utilizing a set, but are still working in a Wave of Light build. This a build heavily dependent on gear, and snagging Kyoshiro's Blade as a weapon is essential as it heavily buffs the damage output of Wave of Light.

For players who want to keep it simpler and use a set bonus, the best players doing so in Season 28 are using the Patterns of Justice set. Here's a look at a possible build for that.

  • Blinding Flash (Faith in the Light)
  • Tempest Rush (Flurry)
  • Serenity (Ascension)
  • Epiphany (Desert Shroud)
  • Manta of Salvation (Agility)
  • Sweeping Wind (Inner Storm)

As always, passives come down to playstyle and players might something that works out better for them. Here's a sample set of passives that can be used.

  • Seize the Initiative
  • Relentless Assault
  • Momentum
  • Beacon of Ytar

Best Necromancer build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Necromancers are the newest class in Diablo 3, but players have had plenty of time to get used to the inner workings of them, and they've even become one of the most popular classes in the game. Without question, the best build for them utilizes the Trang'Oul's Avatar set as the leaderboards are just flooded with players using the set. Here's a sample build for that.

  • Simulacrum (Blood and Bone)
  • Blood Rush (Transfusion)
  • Death Nova (Blood Nova)
  • Frailty (Early Grave)
  • Bone Armor (Dislocation)
  • Siphon Blood (Power Shift)

Passives in this scenario can be used to buff the damage dealing abilities such as Siphon Blood, which also heals the player, so focusing on that isn't a bad idea. Here's a look at some possible passives to use.

  • Swift Harvesting
  • Stand Alone
  • Final Service
  • Spreading Malediction

Best Witch Doctor build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Witch Doctors in Diablo 3 seem to work best with summoning builds with a beefy Spider Queen, which means they should be using the Spirit of Arachyr set. Like the Crusader set, this Witch Doctor set has seen changes that brought it into the meta, and now many top players find themselves using it. Here's a look at a possible build to use for it.

  • Corpse Spiders (Widowmakers)
  • Piranhas (Piranhado)
  • Spirit Walk (Jaunt)
  • Soul Harvest (Languish)
  • Locust Swarm (Pestilence)
  • Big Bad Voodoo (Jungle Drums)

Passives that buff Piranhas and Locust Swarm make sense here. Here's a possible list of passives that would work out nicely with this build.

  • Confidence Ritual

Best Wizard build in Diablo 3 Season 28

Like Diablo 2 and the Sorceress, the casting magic class is the most popular in Diablo 3, and that's the Wizard. Like always it seems like, the most popular set among players is Tal Rasha's Elements, and it revolves around dropping meteors on suspecting enemies. Here's a sample build.

  • Meteor (Comet)
  • Diamond Skin (Prism)
  • Magic Weapon (Deflection)
  • Teleport (Calamity)
  • Familiar (Sparkflint)
  • Storm Armor (Power of the Storm)

Wizards are able to make space between them and enemies with ease, so adding passives that would deal addition damage to far away enemies makes sense. Here's a look at some possible passives that can be used with this build.

  • Power Hungry
  • Glass Cannon
  • Galvanizing Ward
  • Elemental Exposure
