To begin this crucial quest unraveling the mysterious tale of The Forgotten, you'll need to head to the Pumpkin House in the Forgotten Lands. You'll notice you can now enter the Pumpkin House, where you'll find the Fairy Godmother. Speaking to her will immediately begin the Miracles Take Time questline. This quest isn't too difficult, but it is pretty long and will require you to complete multiple steps. After speaking to Fairy Godmother, follow her to the big rocky mountain/hill in the middle of The Forgotten Lands. She will magically turn the rocks into a treehouse, where you can enter the Dreamscape.

In the Dreamscape, Fairy Godmother will need your help to start piecing together the truth of The Forgotten. To begin, you'll need to start collecting all the Memory Orbs from around the pedestals. You'll find three of them you can grab off the pedestals by walking over and interacting with them. However, a few are missing, and you'll need to enter three different portals to collect them.

How to complete Forgotten Memories: Friendship in Dreamlight Valley

Here you will enter into a lost memory of The Forgotten, where they start questioning themselves and are unable to communicate how they feel. You'll need to complete a task for Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie to collect the Orb of Friendship.

Make an Ugly Flower Boutique for Mickey

The first task was to start collecting flowers for a boutique for Minnie. Wander around the forgotten Peaceful Meadow, and you'll see a bunch of dead flowers that you can harvest. Once you have them, head to the Crafting Table beside Goofy's House, and you can craft the Ugly Flower Boutique. After you make it, head over to the pillar of Friendship to give it to Minnie. You'll report back to Mickey once this is done, and then you can move on to helping out Goofy.

Make a Nasty Bouillabaisse for Goofy

Goofy wants to eat a meal together. He has already caught an exquisite shrimp to use, but you'll need to gather the rest of the ingredients. You can find them spread around the area right on the ground, just like the flowers. Look for the sparkles for help locating them. There is one hiding behind some crates near Goofy's House. You'll need one Carrot, one Tomato, and two clams. Once you have them, head to the Cooking Station beside Goofy and put all the rotten ingredients in to prepare it. Then share it with Goofy to continue.

Collect the Orb of Friendship with Minnie

Once you finish cooking with Goofy, you'll head back over to speak to Minnie, who appears worried about you. However, The Forgotten is unable to express how they really feel and shuts down the situation, which in turn, makes the Orb of Friendship fall out of the pillar. You can collect it and return back the Dreamscape to speak to Fairy Godmother.

How to complete Forgotten Memories: Trust in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After checking in with Fairy Godmother, you'll enter into the second portal to an eerie Glade of Trust, where you'll collect the Orb of Trust. You'll need to complete some tasks for Mother Gothel to do so. First, she'll ask you to pull the Orb out of the pillar, which you can do by interacting with the pillar as prompted. Then you'll have to fish for her lost mirror.

Fish for Mother Gothel's Jewel-Encrusted Mirror

She'll explain that the mirror is in one of the ponds around the area. Though, it will take you three tries before actually finding it. Head over to the nearest pond and fish on the gold spot to collect a fuse, then continue to the next pond to collect a ball, and then finally, toward the waterfall water area to collect the mirror. Then you can return to Mother Gothel with the mirror. Despite helping her out, Mother Gothel will trick us and threaten to lock us up in a tower like Rapunzel. You'll automatically be teleported back to the Dreamscape, where you can collect the Orb of Trust.

How to complete Forgotten Memories: Nurturing in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After checking in with Fairy Godmother in the Dreamscape again, you'll enter the third and last memory portal. Here in the Sunlit Plateau, you'll need to speak to Scar and complete his wishes. Like Mother Gothel, he has ill intentions and wants to get rid of the Orb of Nurturing. To do so, you'll have to assist him and to destroy the nature around the Plateau and begin to grow Night Thorns.

Remove Flowers for Scar in the Sunlit Plateau

Scar will have you remove all the flowers nearby to diminish the Orb's power. You'll notice there are orange Houseleeks spread around the area. To remove them, approach each one and interact with it to stomp on it. There are eight of them in total.

Plant Night Thorn Seeds around Sunlit Plateau

After destroying the flowers, Scar will have you plant something new, the beginning of the Night Thorn infestation. He'll give you 20 seeds in total, but you'll only have to plant them and water them around certain areas; use your shovel and watering can to do so:

  • Plant Night Thorns around Dreamfruit Tree (5)
  • Plant Night Thorns around the Pillar of Nurturing (5)
  • Plant Night Thorns around the Waterfall and Mine Entrance (5)

Once you do this, the Orb will fall out of the pillar for you to collect and bring to Scar. Scar will then seal himself in his cave, and Merlin will come along to talk to you. This is the final memory of The Forgotten and an obvious tilting point for the story, explaining The Forgotten's disappearance and beginning of The Forgetting. You will return to the Dreamscape and collect the last memory.

Now that you have all the memory orbs, you can now collect the Orb of Remembrance from the center of the Dreamscape, as Fairy Godmother suggests. However, before you get the chance, the Forgotten teleports into the Dreamscape and snatches it from you. Exit out of the Dreamscape and report to Fairy Godmother beside the Forgotten Lands pillar.

This is, unfortunately, a standstill for the Remembering quests for now and the end of the Miracles Take Time quest, but surely as we progress our friendship with Fairy Godmother, more will be unveiled soon!
