When does Doom Eternal’s Horde Mode release?

DOOM Eternal has made a name for itself as the worthy successor to 2016's phenomenal series reboot of the DOOM franchise. With incredible gunplay, combat, and incredible DLC, the series continues to enamor fans the world over. In late October 2021, DOOM Eternal gets even more content for players to enjoy.

DOOM Eternal's Horde Mode, BATTLEMODE 2.0, has a scheduled release on October 26, 2021. This arcade-styled game mode lets players explore a brand-new arena while slaying demons and unlocking several streak-based rewards. BATTLEMODE 2.0 launches alongside Update 6.66, and this content will be free for all users.

If this free update isn't enough to satiate your bloodlust, DOOM Eternal also has several paid expansions: The Ancient Gods - Part One and Part Two up for purchase. The Ancient Gods has been praised as a worthy follow-up to DOOM Eternals campaign content by both fans and critics, strapping an additional eight to ten hours of content onto the base package.
