Unlocking the Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2 offers players a chance to master a diverse set of combat skills. This vocation is the most complex one to obtain, but in this guide I will guide you step by step.
How to get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2
To get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2, you must complete Lamond's quest by traveling to Agamen Volcanic Island in Bakbattahl. The Warfarer Vocation is a relatively mid-to-late game vocation and, while it works wonders for the player, is especially hard to get compared to other vocations in the game. You may need to hold off until you are at least level 26 or higher to successfully obtain it.
How to get Newt Liqueur at Higg's Tavern Stand in Dragon's Dogma 2
The first step on your quest to get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2 involves acquiring Newt Liqueur, a crucial item for the quest. You must head to Higg's Tavern Stand located in Bakbattahl. Here, you can purchase three bottles of Newt Liqueur at 5,000 gold each.
When I originally arrived at the Tavern, I found it locked, much to my confusion. Only later did I discover I needed to access it, and there are two ways to go about it:
- Use two sacks beside a fenced haystack to gain access to the Tavern without the Breastren mask on (this will trigger a fight with guards).
- Equip the mask and gain access the same way without any issues.
Once at Higg's Tavern Stand, interact with the bartender to purchase three bottles of Newt Liqueur. This will cost you 15,000 gold.
Locating Lamond for the Quest to get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2
After acquiring the Newt Liqueur, you must locate Lamond on Agamen Volcanic Island. Lamond will ask for the Newt Liqueur to help him with his problems. Once you provide him with the liqueur, he will share his knowledge, granting you access to the Warfarer Vocation.
Ensure Lamond gives you the Grandmaster’s Path skill scroll, which is essential for fully utilizing the Warfarer Vocation. If he doesn't hand it over initially, a follow-up conversation should resolve this. I didn't get it initially, but I was persistent and managed to obtain it the second time, although this may be different for you.
