Adding mods to games is a great way to refresh the gaming experience. You could mod Dragon's Dogma 2 as soon as the game hits the shelves, and there are many great modes for this game you can install and enjoy. However, this guide is not about them but the funny and creative mods associated with cosmetics or function.

This is a very simple mod by lingsamuel, that does a very simple function: When you request a fake item, you will get one right away. Like a true master of forgery, you can duplicate items such as treasure, keys, or other valuables.

Dragonsplague Cure

Dragonsplague is a very troublesome Debilitation that affects only the Pawns. It makes them attack NPCs and do many unpredictable acts. With this mod by MrBoobieBuyer, you can cure your Pawns or even prevent them from getting sick in the first place.

ShutUpPawns

The players often get annoyed by the Pawns' comments on everything in the game. Emoose made this mod to configure the Pawn dialogue options so they won't repeat the same sentence about wolves or ladders every single time.

No Job Requirements

This mode by Lord Gregory nullifies any job requirement regarding Armor and Weapons. That means you can equip any piece regardless of your Vocation. However, this mod is limited to equipment only, so you can't use Skills from other Vocations.

Vainuss1 made this interesting cosmetic mod, replacing the two-handed sword with Nero's Red Queen from Devil May Cry 5. This mod was obviously made to fulfill the amazingly precise Nero you can build in the game's Character Creator.

Call an Ambulance- But Not For Me

This mode by Bionic Freak significantly improves base stats for all the Armor and Clothing. Almost all rings are buffed hard, too, making your Arisen very hard to harm, let alone kill. Additionally, all the modded items weigh next to nothing. Pretty handy in tight situations.

High-Res Tattoos

The original tattoo image files in Dragon's Dogma 2 are very low resolution, just 512x512, and therefore, the tattoos didn't look impressive. CnRay fixed that by making tattoo textures in glorious 4K, so your Arisen will proudly wear them.

This mod allows you to control the lantern's brightness, range, light color, and oil cost. You can also turn your lantern into a pocket Sun or whatever light source you prefer. Additionally, you can set the oil depletion to zero, effectively making an eternal light source.

Stop Selling Yourself

Another annoying Pawn-related situation in the game is random stray Pawns that approach you and initiate the hiring dialogue by themselves. This mode, appropriately called Stop Selling Yourself, prevents Pawns from offering themselves to your service.

Not everyone appreciates the rugged, warrior-like look of Arisen ladies. Kawaii Face Textures mod by sofia01 causes some of the Arisen girls to get hit with a Japanizing beam. It cleans the skin texture, making it a lot more fair, and removes black circles around the eyes.
