All Buildings and where to construct them in Dune Spice: Wars

Make sure to construct these buildings at ideal locations.

In Dune: Spice Wars, players will have to construct various buildings to harvest Resources and establish their dominance over the Regions of Arrakis. Players will need to keep in mind that almost every building in the game will have a Solari and Plascrete upkeep, so you will have to construct them strategically to streamline Resources.

EconomyMilitary, and Statecraft are the three building types in Dune: Spice Wars. Each category has various different building units, and players will need to construct them in several Villages controlled by their Faction. We played as all of the available Factions during the Early Access and have discovered ideal locations to construct specific buildings in the game.

Where to construct Economy buildings in Dune: Spice Wars?

Eight different Economy buildings can be constructed in Villages in Dune: Spice Wars. The Refinery requires Fuel Cells, Solari, and Plascrete for construction, while the rest of the buildings only need Plascrete. The following list features ideal locations where players should construct these buildings:

  1. Refinery
    • Construct in Villages near Spice Fields.
  2. Spice Silos
    • Construct in Villages that are close to ally Regions with Spice Fields.
  3. Plascrete Factory
    • Construct in Villages near Minerals.
  4. Fuel Cell Factory
    • Construct in Villages near Energy Sources.
  5. Windtrap
    • Construct in Villages with high Wind Strength.
  6. Maintenance Center
    • Construct in Villages with several buildings and high upkeep to streamline Resources.
  7. Processing Plant
    • Construct in Villages near Rare Elements.
  8. Water Extractor
    • Construct in Villages under Special Regions like Polar Sink.

Where to construct Military buildings in Dune: Spice Wars?

Military buildings are the defense system in Dune: Spice Wars and are required to improve your Faction's Militia. There are four different types of Military buildings that can be constructed in Villages, and the following list features their ideal locations:

  1. Airfield
    • Construct in Villages close to Raid prone areas and borders to allow fast travel for troops.
  2. Missile Battery
    • Construct in Villages located at Regional borders shared between opposing Factions.
  3. Military Base
    • Construct in Villages close to hostile Regions near opposing Faction territories that require additional Military support.
  4. Recruitment Office
    • Construct in Villages with Manpower traits and bonuses.

Where to construct Statecraft buildings in Dune: Spice Wars?

Statecraft buildings are required to improve political relations and generate Influence and Authority. The four Statecraft buildings that can be constructed at Villages are listed below, along with their ideal locations:

  1. Crafts Workshop
    • Construct in Villages close to your Main Base.
  2. Data Center
    • Construct in Villages near Regional borders close to opposing Factions.
  3. Listening Post
    • Construct in Villages that have Strong Network traits and are closer to your Main Base.
  4. Research Hub
    • Construct at Villages near Sietches with Knowledge Resource.
