Cooking is an important part of Eastward. It rewards you with dishes that restore your health. But to cook, you will need ingredients. You can find ingredients throughout Eastward. Some are found in shops, while others are dropped by monsters or found in treasure chests.
There are six main food groups for ingredients. They are fruit, dairy and egg, meat, seafood, vegetable, and spice. Of these ingredients, spice is unique in that it is not needed for recipes but rather enhances a dish by giving it an additional effect.
