What are Tokens in Eastward?

Let's play a game.

There are many resources in Eastward and one of them is tokens. You are probably wondering what you can do with these tokens since it isn't explained immediately. The answer is that you can use them in a machine to receive Pixballs.

Tokens are put into Pixball machines much like you would a gumball machine. This is the only way to get more Pixballs and collect them all. You can typically find tokens in chests throughout the world of Eastward and come in three.

When you have tokens you are looking to spend, you will have to find a Pixball machine. The first one you come across is next to the Earth Born game machine in Potcrock Isle. Depositing a token into the machine will let you turn the dial once and receive a Pixball. It seems to be random as the dial has been able to turn multiple times when holding the button or pressing it repeatedly. Sometimes you may be able to spin the dial more than once and get a rarer Pixball.

There will be more Pixball machines, so make sure to hold onto your tokens. Since tokens are found in treasure chests, you will need to keep your eyes peeled to find them all and get more tokens. After all, you don't want to be the kid who has a half-complete collection of Pixballs.
