Fort Faroth Location in Elden Ring

Where is this important location?

Fort Faroth in Elden Ring is a very important location. It can be found in the Caelid region, just south of the minor Erdtree. To get here, players can travel east of the starting region of Limgrave. The Caelid region is dangerous to traverse, with many high-level enemies, so players should be cautious if visiting this area in the early game.

What to do at Fort Faroth

Fort Faroth is the location where players can obtain the Dectus Medallion (Right). This item, along with the Dectus Medallion (Left), is needed to activate the Grand Life of Dectus. Once activated, the Lift takes players from the Liurnia region to the Atlus Plateau. This must happen for players to complete the game.

There are only two paths into the Atlus Plateau, with the Lift being the easiest option. Players can get ahold of the Dectus Medallion (Right) by entering Fort Faroth and then traveling to the back left side of the structure, climbing the ladder, and opening the Fort's chest.
