In Elden Ring, players will come across several new mechanics that will give them an edge while engaging in combat. Spirit Ashes are one of the new elements. Essentially, it allows players to summon specific spirits before heading into battle.
The Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes are one of the summons players can perform, and you will find this item at Nokron, Eternal City. This location doesn't unlock until players defeat General Radagn, the third shardbearer at Caelid. After defeating Radagn, a star will pierce the Earth, creating a crater located east from Agheel Lake North Site Of Grace at Limgrave. Visit this location, and keep descending until you arrive at the rooftops of the underground city, Nokron.
Traverse the rooftops of Nokron to discover the city, and you will reach an arch that leads toward a Church. Continue toward the Church near Night's Sacred Ground and discover a fog door. These can be opened in exchange for Stonesword Keys. You will come across this item earlier in-game. Use the key and enter the fog wall. You will face an enemy at prayer. Eliminate the enemy and open the treasure chest under the statue to unlock the Mimic Tear Ashes.

Essentially, players can run a sorcerer and melee combination by summoning another version of themselves with the Mimic Tear Ashes.
Players will have to explore the rooftops of Nokron to discover different areas of the city and fight a few bosses along the way. Defeat the boss, and a Site Of Grace will be available. Save your progress here.
