Elden Ring certainly isn't short on breath-taking vistas, which means it's only natural for us to want to capture them for others to admire. But unfortunately, the game does not employ a Photo Mode of any sort, meaning you will need to resort to a particular mod to grab your screenshots.
Created by Otis_Inf, the Elden Ring Photo Mode Mod allows you to capture in-game images. You will need to purchase it from the official Patreon account to install it. Once installed, you will need to follow the prompts and steps to set it up in your game.

It is worth taking into account that FromSoftware does not support mods. What this means is that, by installing the fan-made mod, you will be at risk of receiving an Inappropriate Activity Detected error message. To work around this, you will need to play the game in offline mode, which will, in turn, disable the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) system.
If you want to capture a screenshot in multiplayer, then you will need to seek an alternative route. Simply recording your screen, and taking a screenshot outside of the game, is just one of the few available methods for all users.
