How to heal in Ember Knights

How can you bring your health up?

As a Roguelite, health is extremely important in the game. There are times when you can choose to heal yourself over other benefits, but it's tempting to ignore health points. You can heal yourself during a playthrough in several ways listed below.

These are the ways you can heal yourself in the game.

  • Chicken, apples, and potions
    • Found in bags on the ground randomly.
  • Destroying blue mushrooms
    • When destroyed, these drop chicken.
  • Choosing the room with the red potion instead of the other kinds of rooms.
    • If you do this, you will find a room with a fountain of health. Due to its limited use, it is more beneficial to one or two players than to four.

Unfortunately, Ember Knights doesn't offer many ways to heal. The enemies get stronger if you level up your health stats in the game and that makes things even harder.

You should always take the room with the fountain of health since it consistently appears before boss battles. When playing with more than one person, take turns or choose an amount that you all need equally.
