Escape from Tarkov – Streets of Tarkov Map Guide

Just avoid Klimov Street... At least as much as possible.

Due to its unique mechanics, map knowledge is crucial in Escape from Tarkov. Yes, playing the map well is key in every FPS game. It has an added importance in Escape from Tarkov, though, due to the extraction points players must reach if they want to escape. For Streets of Tarkov, players will need to be aware of these exits and some high-pressure areas to avoid if possible.

Where can players find extraction points on Streets of Tarkov in Escape from Tarkov?

The key aspect to the map of Streets of Tarkov is that all evacuation points are placed on one side. To the left of the Scav checkpoint are most of the exits, including the Courtyard, Taxi, and Collapsed Crane. This makes it clear to players what direction to head after completing their raids and gathering their items.

Conversely, the other side of Streets of Tarkov is practically a no-fly zone. Unless players have a Green Flare on them, they cannot travel down Klimov Street without being shot down by snipers. Klimov Street hugs the edge of the map, so players should simply avoid that side unless absolutely necessary.

The Collapsed Crane is one of the easier extraction points to reach, as the only threats around are those hiding in the main building. The Evacuation Zone is another easy place to spot, but there's hardly any cover there, so players will want to jiggle and avoid shots.

Arguably, the toughest Extraction Point to reach is the Sewer Point. Sure, once players are inside the sewers, they are relatively safe. Unfortunately, there's a large lack of cover on the way to the Sewer, so getting there can be difficult.

It's also important for players to check windows whenever they can. Most of the buildings on the map (of which there are tons) have small windows that snipers can use to catch unaware targets. Players will want to travel between pieces of cover in open streets instead of simply running down.

There is also a Cinema right by the Courtyard exit that is notorious for having a sniper placed there. There's lots of open space around that Cinema, which makes it another place to avoid unless absolutely necessary. To be successful, players will need to be on the move when they are in a raid. Shots are very loud in Tarkov, so firing a shot means that NPCs will arrive at that location quickly. After firing, move to a new location immediately to evade the incoming enemies.
