As with any online service, it's best to start troubleshooting your devices and home network if the servers aren't down and you're experiencing issues:

  • Close the game that you're trying to play and confirm that your console, PC, or mobile device has a working internet connection.
  • If the device doesn't, check another device in your home to see if it is a problem with the device or the network.
  • If all devices are unable to connect, check the status lights on your gateway (modem/router) and power cycle the device by leaving the power unplugged for 30 seconds minimum.
  • If your device can connect to the internet and things like browsers and other games are working, double check the EverQuest 2 Twitter account to see if any announcements have been made regarding an outage.
