The Enclave is back to their old tricks.

Fallout 4 has seen a lot of love from Bethesda and fans since the release of Fallout TV. Bethesda even decided to update some of the Fallout games with related content, including Fallout 4. One thing that was added was the quest "Echoes of the Past." Here's how you can start and complete the quest.

In order to start the quest, you need to ensure that you have the update for current-gen consoles downloaded. Once that is done, you can just get on the game, and the quest will automatically be added to your quests. You will be tasked with finding a caravan that has been attacked by the Enclave near the Saugus Ironworks. You will find that the quest marker takes you to a bridge that is covered in blood.

From there, you will just need to follow the blood until you find the caravan, which has unfortunately been killed by the Enclave. There will be a group of Enclave Soldiers that will attack you here, so be ready for a fight.

Once they are taken care of, head to the terminal right beside you and look for the option to download their Homing Beacon Frequency. This will allow you to track them down and find out where their base is.

How to find the Enclave's base

Travel to the Edge of the Glowing Sea and turn your radio on to the broadcast that is labeled "Enclave Homing Beacon." This will lead you to the Atlantic Offices, which is to the west of the Edge of the Glowing Sea. Upon entering the building, you will quickly realize that this is the Enclave's base. They will start a lockdown, and every soldier in the area will come to attack you.

You will want to clear out the floor you're on and then enter into the door at the bottom of the steps. From there, you can drop down into the hole and kill the Enclave's Colonel.

The colonel will drop an item called "Enclave Terminal Password." You will want to use this to access the terminal in the room next to him. There, you will learn that there are more Enclave encampments, which you can add investigating to your quests.

Select the option to end the lockdown, allowing you to leave the base. However, once you do this, you will hear a Vertibird heading to your location that you'll need to take care of. Head up the elevator to the roof in order to begin this part of the quest.

Destroying the Veltibird will end the quest, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. There will be multiple Enclave Soldiers attacking you from around the base while some are inside the Veltibird. Your best bet is to take out the soldiers around you and then focus on the Veltibird. You won't be able to take it out if you're killed by the enemies around you.

Once they are taken care of, pull out your strongest gun and fire away at the Verltibird until it crashes. This will end the quest and allow you to put to rest the past.
