Fallout 76 Private Server Guide

Play alone with your friends.

Fallout 76 is Bethesda's attempt to take the world of Fallout into an online setting. However, some people just want to play with their group of friends, and private servers are a way to make that happen.

How to set up a private server in Fallout 76

Private servers are a way to play with just your group of friends without having to worry about seeing other players on your server. This means you won't run into randoms on the map, and you won't have to worry about any nukes going off unless you do it yourself.

The way to do this is by signing up for a Fallout 1st membership. It does mean the only way to play on a private server, dubbed Private Adventure by Fallout, is by opening up your wallet. A one-month subscription is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users for $12.99. You can also get a full year for $99.99. Up to eight people can play in a Private Adventure.

What does Fallout 1st include?

Signing up for the subscription gets you a bit more than just access to private servers. If you subscribe to Fallout 1st, you'll get an unlimited storage space Scrapbox, a Survival Tent, 1,650 Atoms per month, the Ranger Armor outfit, and a bunch of emotes and icons.

You'll also get Custom Worlds, which lets you create your own world and invite your friends to it. All in all, there's a lot on offer here, but the main draw will be the private servers. If you're dying to play in one with your friends, this is the only way to make it happen. If you're routinely spending money on Atoms, a Fallout 1st membership could be worth it for that alone. 500 Atoms costs $4.99 on their own, so you are getting a deal here when you also factor in the other goodies you get.
