Fallout viewers spot Todd Howard Napoleon painting in TV show

Todd Napoleon Dynamite.

The Easter egg season began as soon as the Fallout TV show dropped. While fans have already found multiple shoutouts to Bethesda's post-apocalyptic open-world outings, one detail in the Amazon Prime show celebrated Todd Howard, the series' director. The best way to show appreciation was via the famous Todd-as-Napoleon painting.

Originally seen in Fallout 4, the Todd Howard Napoleon painting is seen in the show briefly. The keen eye of Reddit user BlakeAbernathy noticed a strangely familiar painting hanging on the walls in the Fallout show.

The Fallout TV show has earned praise for its attention to detail, as well as for offering fans a chance to peer at every corner of the screen in search of a good ol' Easter Egg. While I appreciate fine art, nothing made me happier than getting the origin story of everyone's favorite wasteland doggo, Dogmeat. If that doesn't warm your heart, nothing will.

If you're not familiar with Todd Howard's Napoleon story, the painting could be seen in Fallout 4. You can see it for yourself if you ever decide to revisit Fallout 4. To do this, head to Diamond City and find the Dugout Inn. When you enter the inn, head left to Room 1, where you'll see Todd Howard's face on the painting "Napoleon Crossing the Alps."

Fans of the show have also started trying to figure out exactly what the deal is with the vials that the ghouls so desperately need. It really is the talk of the town at the moment.

Amazon Prime's Fallout series is available to stream in its entirety on... Amazon Prime, right now.
