How to change your party in Final Fantasy XIV

Go, team!

Duties are an integral part of the Final Fantasy XIV experience. They are akin to dungeons or instances in other MMOs and are a fantastic way to quickly level and gear a character. Until recently, they required a group of players to complete. However, Trusts introduced the idea of having NPCs run the Duty with the player. This has since been expanded in patch 6.1.

To modify the NPC party for Trusts, players will first want to select Duty from the action bar. This will open the Duty Support window. From there, three icons are at the top representing the available expansions to be customized: A Realm Reborn, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker. Selecting one of those will then bring up the list of available Duties where the party can be customized.
