How to get the Shiromaru minion in FFXIV

The Shiromaru minion is a reward for the new Variant Dungeon added in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.45, Mount Rokkon. It drops from a chest while running the dungeon, though at the time of writing, it’s not yet confirmed which one. It’s believed to be a reward from the final chest, but we’ll update this article to confirm as soon as possible.

In addition, the Shiromaru minion is tradable and marketable. This means you can sell any duplicates you have on the Market Board, or buy if you have the Gil. This price is currently well into the several million Gil range though, so if you’re wanting this adorable pup, perhaps grinding the dungeon is a better option!

What is the Shiromaru Ninja dog in Final Fantasy XIV?

In the minion description for Shiromaru, it states that “This white ninja dog once served the Hingan kunoichi Yozakura.” The dog itself seems to be based on the Shiba Inu breed of dog. That means Shiromaru is in good company, as the Mameshiba minion in FFXIV is also a Shiba Inu!
