How to unlock The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV

In Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.3, a new special instance dungeon spawning from Treasure Hunt maps has been added. Called The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon, this dungeon only spawns after completing a Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Map. Here’s how to unlock it.

Accessing The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon in FFXIV

Your first step in accessing The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon is to obtain a Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Map. These are obtained in Elpis from level 90 gathering nodes, and we’ve compiled a full guide on gathering them. It is recommended for players to have a group of eight level 90 combat classes to defeat the monsters guarding the treasure.

Occasionally, after completing a Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Map, a portal leading to The The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon dungeon will spawn. You’ll have 10 minutes to prepare and enter the portal before it disappears. However, only those who were in your party prior to the completion of the Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Map will be able to join you.

Completing The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon

Upon entering The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon players will find an arcane sphere that must be activated. Depending on the result, this will trigger a roulette wheel, summoning creatures or treasure. Creatures will need to be defeated to continue.

The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon will finish after the following conditions are met:

• Five trials are passed, and the duty is completed.
• The roulette stops at a space that removes the party from duty.
• All party members are KO'd
