There are quite a few reasons that you would want to upgrade your copy of Final Fantasy 7 to the Playstation 5 version. One of these being the chance to finally play the Intergrade DLC, which heavily focuses on Yuffie. Upgrading games can be a bit tricky, though, especially if you're a newer PS5 owner.
Here's how to get your free upgrade:
- Insert your disc if you have the phsyical version, then head to the Playstation Store.
- Once there, go to the store page for "Final Fantasy VII Remake upgrade for PS4 version owners" on your console.
- Click purchase to start the download and claim your free Final Fantasy 7 Intergrade.

Make sure you delete the PS4 version of the game from your console. It's very easy to select the wrong version if they are both floating around on your console.
It is completely free to upgrade to the PS5 version and get the bonus content if you have purchased the game. This is available to both the digital and physical versions of the game. This now also includes the PS Plus version.
