How to promote units in Fire Emblem Engage

To promote a unit in Fire Emblem Engage, they must be level 10 or higher. Once they have reached this level, they can be promoted to an Advanced Class. You will need a Master Seal before you can promote them. When you promote or change a unit's class, its level will be reset to 1. Here is how to promote units in Fire Emblem Engage.

  • Open the Inventory menu.
  • Find the character you wish to promote.
  • Select Change Class.
  • Choose an Advanced or Master Class.

When to promote units in Fire Emblem Engage

While units can be promoted as early as level 10 in Fire Emblem Engage, this is not necessarily the best time to do so. Units can reach level 20 typically, and switching their class before they've reached the cap will mean you lose out on the experience. So, it may be better to wait until a unit has reached level 20 before promoting them.
