While For The King 2 may advance the original game in many ways, making for a great turn-based tactical battler, it is still hard to grasp at times. For example, it isn't at all obvious how to trade items between your characters.
I often find a character loots an item when the whole party isn’t present that’s of no use to them but perfect for another character, such as my Blacksmith finding a bow that’s perfect for my Hunter. So what do you do next?
How to give items to other characters in For The King II
First, the two characters you want to trade between have to either be in the same or adjacent spaces (I’ve found you can also trade from two spaces away if the terrain is flat and easy). If that’s the case, select the character who has the item you want to trade and click the small suitcase icon in the bottom right of the screen (marked above). This opens their Inventory.
Related: Next, find the item in their inventory list and right-click it to open a small dropdown menu (see above). As long as the other character you want to trade with is within range, their name should be clickable on the list. Simply select them on the list and choose Give. The item will now move to their inventory. Don’t forget to equip it, which you can also do from the same inventory window.
