Feathers are a rare resource that can only be found inside treasure chests across Athia. This item can be used at the crafting table to increase material pouch capacity so that you can carry more materials with you. Crafting and upgrading gear is a must as you progress through the chapters in Forspoken. Below are some of the chests containing a Feather that you can find early game:
Next to The Fallen Temple
You may encounter this chest in The Barren Plains soon after leaving the city of Cipal. It's placed at the edge of a cliff on the opposite side of The Fallen Temple. A blue dot on the map marks treasure chests, so you will not have any problem finding their exact location.
Guarded by Altered Llingoceros Mutant
As you move to the Dead Man's Ledge area, you'll come across a monstrous reindeer guarding a chest. While you may choose to fight the beast, you may also simply dodge its attacks, swiftly open the chest, grab the Feather, and leave. This chest is also situated next to the Eastern Cipal Refugee where you can rest.
