All New POIs and Landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is finally here, and with it comes massive changes to the map! On this page, we cover the changes we've seen as the season started, including named locations, landmarks, and other points of interest. It's important to note that because the season just started, this will be a work in progress. We will progressively add all the information we find as it is revealed, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back!

Changes to Named Locations

There are three notable changes to the named locations in Chapter 2 Season 8.

• Corny Crops: Now that the underground bases have been removed from Corny Complex, the area has been renamed to Corny Crops. This is closer to resembling this chapter's original Frenzy Farms, as it seems to just be a big farm with nothing significant about it.
• Sludgy Swamp: Sludgy Swamp also had a chunk of it removed. Namely, the Slurp Factory. Since this area is no longer producing Slurp Juice, it has been renamed to Sludgy Swamp to better fit its atmosphere.
• Holly Hedges: By the end of last season, Holly Hedges became Holly Hatchery to make room for the fact that it was a nursing home to the Alien biomes. Now that Doctor Slone took down the mothership, the aliens are no longer infiltrating the area, and it has taken back its original name.

Changes to Landmarks

This section is a work in progress. There are many changes to the map, but we currently haven't investigated any major changes to landmarks. When new information comes in, we'll be sure to update this section!

Other POI Changes

This section is a work in progress. Although we have seen many notable changes to the map (such as Sideways Anomalies and mothership crash sites), we are still investigating them. We'll update this section when we have more information!
