All new Weapons in Fortnite

These are brand new Weapons added to Fortnite for Chapter 3, Season 4:

EvoChrome Shotgun

The EvoChrome Shotgun handles much like the Prime Shotgun, but with some unique twists. This shotgun has a new spread and crosshair and deals an average of 89 damage on a body shot or up to 129 on a headshot, and can increase those stats with better rarities. They are only located in Chrome-dipped chests found at Chrome locations. The best thing about the new Shotguns is that they can evolve rarities the more damage you deal with them. That means your Rare shotgun can eventually become Legendary if you manage to take down a lot of opponents.

EvoChrome Burst Rifle

Like the EvoChrome Shotgun, the EvoChrome Burst Rifle can also only be found in Chrome chests and evolve rarities the more damage you deal with them. This gun is similar to the Ranger Assault Rifle but with burst fire, allowing you to deal with quick and accurate ranged shots on your enemies. The average DPS is 118 and can increase as you evolve the gun to higher rarities.

Chrome Splash

The Chrome Splash is another new entry to the game this season, allowing for a quick getaway or an effective chase. These vials on the map will enable you to throw them down and splash your character with Chrome. Doing so will change your character into a liquefied Chrome form, where you can phase through walls, dash, and move quicker, making you a more challenging target. You can switch in and out of liquid while the effects last, allowing you to land hits on other players and dodge incoming bullets easily. This only lasts for a few seconds, and you will return to normal form as it dissolves.
