Best Fortnite Mythic Weapons Tier List (Chapter 5 Season 2)

In Fortnite, Chapter 5 Season 2, several new Greek-themed mythic weapons were added to the loot pool. While these weapons and items can be easy to acquire, not all of them are equally efficient. Here are the best mythic weapons to use this season in Fortnite.

Best mythic items to use in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

With the introduction of the Greek gods, various mythic weapons were introduced in Fortnite Myths & Mortals. These weapons and items can be obtained by looting chests around the world and by defeating specific Olympian bosses found across the map.

After using all of these weapons, we have divided them into four tiers, from S to C, with S-Tier being the best. These mythic items are segregated based on their effectiveness in combat.

S-Tier

• Chains of Hades - The Chain of Hades is the best mythic weapon in the game right now, and it can be used in different ways to get an advantage over opponents. You can obtain this item from ground loot and chests by defeating the Olympian boss Hades at The Underworld POI. The Chains of Hades can attack enemies at close range. It can also pull opponents and items close to you to finish with a deadly combo.
• Ares' Warforged Assault Rifle - Ares' Warforged Assault Rifle is the best AR in the game. This weapon packs a punch with every bullet and is quite similar to the MK-7 Assault Rifle from previous chapters. The mythic variant of this weapon has a 7.2 fire rate and deals 223.2 damage per second. The magazine holds 35 bullets, which is more than enough for engaging a couple of opponents simultaneously. You can obtain Ares' Warforged Assault Rifle by defeating Olympian boss Ares at Brawler's Battleground POI.

A-Tier

• Hades' Harbinger SMG - Hades' Harbinger SMG is the best Submachine Gun in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. The mythic variant of this gun is obtained by defeating the Olympian boss Hades at The Underworld POI. This weapon has first shot accuracy enabled and deals 218.5 damage per second. It is the best gun to use in close-quarter combat as it can knock down opponents within a few seconds.
• Cerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun - Cerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun is the best Shotgun to use in Fortnite Myths & Mortals. This gun can be obtained by defeating the Olympian boss Cerebus at the Grim Gate POI. This weapon has only three shells per magazine, and each of them are reloaded simultaneously. Unlike other Shotguns, you have to be much more precise as there is very little room for error while firing this weapon. The triangular crosshair of this weapon shoots multiple pellets simultaneously, making it almost impossible for the enemy to maneuver out of its line of sight.

B-Tier

• Zeus' Huntress DMR - Zeus' Huntress DMR may not be the best weapon in the game, but it is exceptionally effective at range. The mythic variant of this single-fire weapon can be obtained by defeating the Olympian boss Zeus at Mount Olympus POI. This Marksman Rifle deals 109.5 damage per second and has a 1.75x critical hit damage multiplier. Make sure to attach a thermal scope, as it allows you to track enemies easily.

C-Tier

• Thunderbolt of Zeus - The Thunderbolt of Zeus is perhaps the weakest mythic item introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. This weapon's charge mechanic and animation take quite a while, leaving you exposed in mid-air and vulnerable to the opponent's gunfire. The best way to use this weapon is to gain a height advantage on your opponent and aim down at them to strike the Thunderbolts. You can obtain the Thunderbolt of Zeus as ground loot, from chests, and by defeating the Olympian boss Zeus at Mount Olympus POI.

Wings of Icarus

The honorable mention goes to the Wings of Icarus. Although this is not a mythic item, this is the best rotational tool in the game in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. The Wings of Icarus allows you to fly for long distances and dive-bomb on opponents. You can find this easily around the map as ground loot and inside chests. The Wings of Icarus has 300 charge, which depletes as you fly around the map.
