Best Landing Spots in Fortnite OG (Chapter 4 Season 7-8)

These are the best landing spots in the OG Season.

In Fortnite, the OG map has returned along with many iconic POIs and landmarks spanning from seasons 5 all the way up to 9 and X. These include some of our all-time favorite landing spots, like the notorious Tilted Towers.

Choosing a good landing spot can be crucial to your game and how long you manage to survive, as well as what loot you manage to grab. So here are some of the best spots we would recommend for the current season.

Best spots to land in Fortnite OG (Chapter 4 Season 7-8)

The OG map is designed to be a replica of the seasonal maps in Fortnite Chapter 1, starting from Season 5. Popular locations like Tilted Towers, Greasy Grove, Flush Factory, and more have returned, and the loot pool is similar to the corresponding seasons.

While the competition is tough, you can strategize to land at a few select POIs and follow a routine in every match. We have listed a group of six different areas where you can land depending on your playstyle (check the yellow circles on the map image above).

Tilted Towers

Tilted Towers is unquestionably the best spot to land in Fortnite OG, especially if you're looking to start the game with a few eliminations. There are numerous buildings at this POI, all of them stacked with loot. Tilted Towers is popular for high-intensity combat, so if you're landing here make sure to get shield, weapons, and utility items quickly.

Once that's sorted, try third-party fights where two or more opponents are fighting. My strategy revolves around getting a favorable high ground on top of one of the buildings and shooting down opponents from a distance. There are also several All Terrain Karts and Shopping Carts in Tilted Towers, so use them to escape if you wind up outnumbered.

Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is another top spot to land this season, and you'll find several players competing for this location. This area is located just northwest of Tilted Towers, and it is connected with zip lines to aid mobility. The houses at this POI are small, but they have ample loot for duos and squads.

Pleasant Park is a spread-out area with scant cover, so prioritize capturing the houses and wait for your opponents to make the first move. The buildings at Pleasant Park have windows you can peek from to shoot at opponents while staying behind cover. There are a few ATKs and Shopping Carts around this area, and I recommend using them once you're ready to move on.

Frosty Flights

Frosty Flights was added with Season 7-8 of the OG rewind, and it is undoubtedly one of the best spots to land. It all comes down to one primary reason: the X-4 Stormwings. Not only does this location feature frosty landscapes and slippery ice, but it also has hangars full of loot and quick, powerful getaway planes to use to your advantage.

If you find there are just too many people landing at the spot with you, I would recommend dropping right near a plane and flying away to a safer location before looting up, such as the icy hilltops nearby.

Paradise Palms

Paradise Palms is an exceptional POI for players looking to fight right from the start. Located on the desert biome area on the southeastern side of the map, Paradise Palms is full of buildings stacked with good loot. There are vehicles around every corner of this POI, allowing players to be mobile if necessary.

You'll have to fight with a lot of players at this location, so I recommend capturing the best houses. The tall building on the eastern side of Paradise Palms provides a natural high ground from where you can start shooting down on opponents. The smaller houses have several windows where you can hold corner angles to engage opponents tactically.

Flush Factory

Flush Factory is a relatively safe drop spot where you can farm materials, acquire weapons, get shield, and search for items. This POI is located on the southwestern edge of the map, and it is not as heavily contested as areas like Tilted Towers or Loot Lake.

There is one big building at Flush Factory that has enough floor and chest loot for squads. There are a few ATK and Shopping Cart spawns at this POI, and I recommend using them to get across the map when the storm starts moving.

Risky Reels

Risky Reels is another area where you can farm materials and acquire good weapons. There are only a handful of buildings at this location, and the ground loot is decent. The only problem with this area is the lack of cover and vehicles.

So far, I have come across only a couple of Shopping Carts at Risky Reels, making it difficult to travel across the map. If you're landing here, I'd recommend looting up quickly and traveling toward the zone before the storm circle starts shrinking.

These are just a few of the best spots we would recommend trying out for this OG season, but there are plenty of other locations to explore. If you find one spot particularly dangerous and risky, try dropping somewhere new and giving it a chance.
