Fortnite 12.61 Patch Notes – Unofficial Update Information

We're compiling a complete look at some Fortnite 12.61 Patch Notes! We're attempting to collect all of the changes, updates, and bug fixes from the most recent patch. Epic has been less regular about posting their patch notes, so we've gone ahead and made our own version of them! You can find information on everything that was added in the post below.

This patch is likely going to be pretty small, so don't expect many changes or leaks from it. It could just be adding some stuff prior to the final event of the season, so a lot of stuff we won't get much access to.

Patch Release Date & Time

The Fortnite 12.61 Patch has been officially announced to be released on Tuesday, May 26th at 2 AM ET (0600 UTC)! You can expect at least a couple hours of downtime once it has been added to the game.

Storm The Agency

New Challenges arrive this week for XP and the chance to earn a new Wrap, Pickaxe, and Glider. You can also gift a free loading screen to a friend.

We're planning to push Storm the Agency live at 10 AM ET after 12.61 releases.

PC Controller Adjustments

More controller adjustments incoming. We're keeping an eye on things and will keep you posted on new updates.

Maya's Specialist Pickaxe and Arroyo Pack Back Bling got new styles you can use!

Fortnite 12.61 Patch Bug Fixes

There's not a whole lot of fixes we know about currently, but we'll see if more are added prior to the release. These were taken from the Trello that display all of the stuff that Epic is working on in terms of bugs.

  • Numbers should now change appropriately when edited on a sports-themed Outfit.

Mobile Issues

  • We're investigating an issue on iOS that is causing players to hitch at a high rate, potentially leading to a crash.
