Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS details & teasers

The next season change is taking place June 9, 2023, and according to the little teasers we have received so far, we can expect BIG changes to the map. The theme is WILDS, which means overgrown jungle landscapes and a mysterious temple POI.

The map may be more green than we've seen in a long time. According to their trailer, it's going to be overgrown with trees, foliage, and steamy waterfalls. It appears the map has also been torn open by something underground, creating large craters and faults, meaning some higher and lower landscapes, with a jungle temple POI at its center. For me, as a player who prefers to play Zero Build, it could mean plenty of places to blend into and take the more stealth approach. We can expect the other biomes to surround the map's outer edges, still above the fallen biome.

Along with these giant map changes, we can expect an exciting new Battle Pass, with fresh new character skins, emotes, back blings, and the usual goodies. There have already been so many speculations of collaborations coming with the season as well. Still, they have officially announced that Transformers will be the biggest collab focus of the season.

The best clues we have on characters featured in the battle pass are from the teaser videos and trailer, where three new faces are shown alongside the iconic Fishstick character and the new promo art shown below. Three of these faces are from the four new character promos featuring Era, Trace, Rian, and Lorenzo on Fortnite's Twitter (hyperlinked here).

Not only will these seasons feature the new biome and battle pass, but dinosaurs will return! We've seen them before as dangerous predators on the map, but this time, you can actually ride them, much like the wolves and boars.

The season change is coming up so soon, but these are all the details we have so far. Keep checking back for more updates, which we will add to this post accordingly! What part of the WILDS are you most excited about?
