Fortnite Creed Cup – Start date, format, & rewards

Get ready for the Fortnite Creed Cup.

To celebrate the release of the Adonis Creed skin in Fortnite, Epic Games is giving players a chance to unlock him free of charge. This can be done through the Creed Cup, but the skin will only be going to the best of the best.

How to get the Adonis Creed skin for free in Fortnite

Players who want to get the Creed skin free of charge will have to compete in the Creed Cup on March 1. Unlike the Super Flakes Cup before it, the Creed Cup is a Solo Zero Builds tournament, so there will be no option to bring a friend along this time.

How to play in the Creed Cup in Fortnite

Competitors will have the ability to play in up to 10 games in a three-hour time window, and checking the in-game Compete tab will be vital to finding the exact starting time for the tournament as it varies by region. Although Epic Games has created an NA Central server, that will not be an option for this tournament.

There isn't an Arena points threshold for players to reach, so they can hop right in. As a result of this, the skill sets of players will be all over the place, and early eliminations are certainly a possibility.

What is the Creed Cup format in Fortnite?

With this being a Solo Zero Builds tournament, there will be many players getting into the mix and giving it their best shot, as they don't need to grab a partner. None of that matters, however, if they don't know how to earn points. Here's how it all works.

  • Victory Royale: 30 points
  • 2nd: 25 points
  • 3rd: 22 points
  • 4th: 20 points
  • 5th: 19 points
  • 6th: 17 points
  • 7th: 16 points
  • 8th: 15 points
  • 9th: 14 points
  • 10th: 13 points
  • 11th-15th: 11 points
  • 16th-20th: Nine points
  • 26th - 30th: Five Points
  • 31st - 35th: Four Points
  • 36th - 40th: Three Points
  • 40th - 50th: Two Points
  • 50th - 75th: One Point
  • Each Elimination: One point

Placements are crucial to earning points here, so expect to see a lot of players being passive to give themselves a better chance at winning. However, eliminations are still important as they give players a point for each one, which will also make them climb in placements, so don't ignore those.

What are the Creed Cup rewards in Fortnite?

As mentioned, the top performers will come away with the skin, but some other goodies are up for players. Earning eight points in the tournament will get players the CREED Brand Spray for free, and that should be a real possibility for just about anybody playing.

The main draw of the event is the skin, and winning that will largely depend on what region the player is in. Top performers get the skin and back bling free of charge. Here's the breakdown of that.

  • Europe: 1st to 3000th
  • NA East: 1st to 2000th
  • NA West: 1st to 500th
  • Brazil: 1st to 500th
  • Asia: 1st to 500th
  • Oceania: 1st to 300th
  • Middle East: 1st to 300th

With no requirements to enter the tournament, there's no reason not to go in there and at least give it a try. Players who don't come away with the skin can purchase it in the Item Shop.
