Fortnite Eternal Knight Enlightened Guide (How-to Max Super Level!)

While gold skins were a popular thing to collect in the previous season, it looks like in Fortnite Season 3 that there's only one skin that will benefit from leveling higher and higher. So, we're going to take a look at the Eternal Knight and what exactly is so enlightened about them in this guide.

Enlightened Eternal Knight

First things first, you unlock the Eternal Knight once you reach level 100 in the season. Once you do, every level after that will start contributing to your Eternal Knight's enlightened effect. To enable this you will need to go to the style options and enable the "Super Level" which will give it the new effect. Each style of the skin has unique designs that show up in contrasting colors on the skin. Not only that, they will also glow which is a pretty cool looking effect.

The Gold Eternal Knight will glow a bright yellow color and feature some yellow detailing across the body. Black Eternal Knight glows red with some red detailing across the body. Finally, the default is a grayish glow with white detailing on the body.

How Many Levels to Get Max Coverage?

You will need to get your season level to 160 to fully cover your Eternal Knight skin. This will unlock the super level across all styles of the skin, you don't have to level anything up separately to get them.

Leveling Quickly

People have already reached maximum level and it appears they are doing it by participating in bot lobbies. You can apparently create one by joining a squad game with another account. Here's our guide on how to create bot lobbies, and here's a guide on how to level up fast!

  1. I know it’s post C2S3, but did anyone figure out if there was an enlightened eternal shield, and if so, how to get it? The shield doesn’t look good on the knight otherwise.

  2. can you keep leveling up the eternal knight after the season ends. for the super level style in a new season

    1. I’m pretty sure you can’t.

  3. They have to stop with these enlightened styles. I’m sick of having to go over level 100 to get a style. At least they listened to the complaints last season, and lowered the level to the fully enlightened style.

    1. I think enlightened styles are cool that said I hated the gold styles because it was just too much, think I got to gold meowscles and burned out hard on the game but the xp nerf was largely at fault and getting xp this season is significantly better as well as them lowering the enlightened requirement. I usually go over 100 just from enjoying the game but without enlightened tend to land around 120, enlightened just gives something to push for and keep players engaged at the end of the season. i understand why enlightened is a thing and like that it is but last season was bad. I’ve only played like 6 or so hours this season and i’m already level 27 because of the punchcards and quick challenges so this season feels doable especially if the friend i do duos with gets his internet set up soon.

    2. Why? It’s not hard t go from 100 to 160 this season, if you don’t want it then just ignore it then

      1. I just have a feeling after level 100 the amount of xp required to level up increases more rapidly so it’s almost like golden peely.

        1. People already have it and it hasn’t even been a weak and plus the old ones where supposed to be hard you have to grind to.earn it noone else seemed to care

          1. A bunch of people did care, people were super upset they couldn’t get it. It was the xp nerf at fault. And the location domination only gave you about 1 million xp, which isn’t close to unlocking golden peely. If the xp was nerfed just because of the golden skins, I’m not suprised

  4. It would be cool if they gave ultrama knight the leveled up style to match.
