Fortnite Season 10 (X) The Leftovers Mission Guide – Leaked Challenges List, Rewards

We're taking a look at all of the challenges you'll need to complete in The Leftovers Urgent Mission!

Our Fortnite Season 10 (X) The Leftovers Mission Guide walks you through the list of challenges you'll need to complete to earn the rewards for this mission. There are no longer daily challenges, but now weekly missions you can complete that have challenges that unlock each day.

The Leftovers Mission is an "Urgent Mission" and needs to be completed within the allotted time-frame of a week. As far as we know, they won't be available again once they are gone. So, make sure to finish these, or you'll miss out on the battle stars, experience, and unique loading screen.

The Leftovers Challenges List

A new challenge is being unlocked once a day, but we've got a look at the full list of them due to leaks. These are subject to possible change once they go live!

  • Deal damage with Explosive weapons to opponents (250)
  • Shotgun Eliminations (5)
  • Eliminate members of the Horde at Retail Row (20)
  • Outlast opponents in Duo or Squads mode (150)
  • Use a throwable item in different matches (3)
  • Visit Paradise Palms and Lucky Landing in the same match (2)
  • Search Chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights (7)

Rewards are not specific to any challenge, you are given one each time you complete an additional challenge.

  1. 10x Battle Stars
  2. 500 Season XP
  3. The Leftovers Loading Screen
  4. 10x Battle Stars
  5. 1,000 Season XP
  6. 10x Battle Stars
  7. 2,000 Season XP

There's a hidden location listed on the loading screen you earn, so check out this guide for more information!

The Leftovers Challenges Guide

The challenges are fairly easily to complete, and you can always do them in Team Rumble if you feel like they might be difficult. You can also use Party Assist with any of these challenges which should help you complete the difficult ones.

Deal damage with Explosive weapons to opponents (250)

Hardest part of this one is finding the weapon! I would just do this in Team Rumble, that's going to be the easiest way to do it. You can also search a lot more chests in that mode without worrying about getting eliminated.

Shotgun Eliminations (5)

Another really easy one to do in Team Rumble. Just grab a shotgun and play out a round by primarily looking for shotgun eliminations.

Eliminate members of the Horde at Retail Row (20)

You can only do this in regular battle royale, you can't do it in Team Rumble!

Outlast opponents in Duo or Squads mode (150)

If you want to really do this easily, just queue up for a duo or squads match and DON'T fill. Then go off and hide in a remote area of the map, and only move when you have to. You can also just eliminate yourself once the storm starts coming in, or just let the storm do it for you. That should knock this out pretty quickly.

Use a throwable item in different matches (3)

You've got a few options in the throwable department. These include grenades, shockwave grenades, and stink bombs. I would just make sure to throw at least one of them immediately, that way you don't get eliminated and miss out on completing part of the challenge.

Visit Paradise Palms and Lucky Landing in the same match (2)

I'd go to Paradise Palms and then hit the rift that's to the north west of the area and sail my way over to Lucky Landing. You probably won't make it all the way, but you'll be pretty close and should be able to run the rest of the way.

Search Chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights (7)

Frosty Flights is pretty much a ghost town at this point, so I would head there if you want to do this one easily. I would also do this in Team Rumble because then you don't have to worry about fighting anyone.

Hidden Battle Star

It's pretty hard to see, but if you look very closely at the battle bus you will see the logo for the SoFDeez Ice Cream Parlor. This is where you will find the battle star! For more information on the previous and future hidden stars, check out this guide here.

The location is west of the big race track and north of Paradise Palms.

It's inside the shop, right next to the soda fountain machine.

  1. Leftover Challenge #1 – deal damage with explosives. Duh…BRUTE missiles! One launch should do it. (None of the online sites even mention this).

    1. That’s because the only valid reason to enter a BRUTE is to self-destruct it.

      1. Amen Bob, amen

  2. When I played in team rumble the horde didn’t appear, maybe it will appear once the challenges are out?

    1. They don’t spawn in Team Rumble unfortunately, thanks for letting me know! I updated the post.
