What can fans expect from Fortnite x Fallout?

As announced by Epic, there have been a few teasers regarding the new season. Firstly, this season will be called Wrecked and will largely focus on monster trucks, dirt bikes, and everything off-road! Secondly, the upcoming collaboration with Fallout will bring in new cosmetics and gameplay changes.

Here's what we can expect from the collaboration.

#1: Fallout cosmetics

Recently, Fallout's TV show adaptation on Amazon Prime Video gave fans a glimpse into the Wasteland by breathing life into new characters. From the adventures of Lucy to Maximus, viewers could live in the world of Fallout in a new way. There's a big chance that these characters will soon arrive in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, along with other characters we have met in the games.

#2: Fallout's Power Suit

According to the very first teaser by Epic, the iconic Power Suit from Fallout is going to be in the game. Given how previous seasons have always brought in cosmetics with gameplay changes, there's a high chance that players will be able to use this suit in the game.

This is similar to how Mechs were once a big deal in Fortnite. However, they were so overpowered that devs eventually had to remove them from the game.

#3: A post-apocalyptic theme in the works

A few hours ago, Epic Games posted yet another teaser for the new season. This shows off the return of dirt bikes and sandstorms in the game. Furthermore, monster trucks are now going to be a part of the new season.

All of this indicates that Fortnite Island will slowly turn into a massive landscape where law and order stand no chance, giving players all the freedom they want to cause road rage. This is where Fallout's theme fits perfectly, and we can expect NPCs to give players new quests to follow.
