When it comes to LEGO Fortnite, it's not just about crafting amazing structures—it's also a test of your farming skills. If you're keen on learning the ins and outs of building a Seed Garden in LEGO Fortnite, we've got you covered.
How to plant and grow Seeds in LEGO Fortnite
Building a seed garden in LEGO Fortnite involves various steps. Here are the step-by-step instructions for the same:
1. Craft Shovel to dig soil
To dig the soil in LEGO Fortnite, you will need to craft a shovel using a Lumber Mill, wooden rods, and planks. Here's the list of components you need:
- Wooden Rod x3
- Plank x1
Once you have the shovel, you can dig in any grassy spot to obtain soil. Each time you dig, you will get one stack of soil. Soil is an essential component in creating garden plots for farming.
2. Get Fertilizers
During my playthrough, I was able to get Fertilizer by petting sheep and cows in LEGO Fortnite. Fertilizer is a valuable item that can help you grow crops faster and more efficiently. You can use it to cultivate different kinds of plants, such as wheat, vines, pepper seed, and other useful ingredients that you can use for cooking, crafting, or trading
However, getting Fertilizer from the animals is not guaranteed. Sometimes, they might give you other items, such as wool, milk, or cheese. Other times, they might not give you anything at all. Therefore, you will need to pet them multiple times to increase your chances of getting fertilizers.

3. Build a garden plot
To build a garden plot in LEGO Fortnite, you need two Soil and one Fertilizer. Once you have these ingredients, you can place the garden plot anywhere you want.
4. Find seeds and plant them
The final step is to find seeds that are dropped by creatures, discovered in chests, or created by unlocking the Grain Mill recipe. Once you've gathered a sufficient number of seeds, the next step is to decide whether you want to plant a single seed or a stack of the same kind. Give them a bit of time and keep an eye out for the 'Collect' prompt – that's your signal that they're good to go.
