How to claim a named location containing a Cold Blooded Vault in Fortnite

The Fortnite Most Wanted challenges have players turning from heroes into villains, and one quest will task them with claiming a named location that contains a Cold Blooded Vault. There are three such spots like this on the map, and it's a difficult task to complete.

All locations containing a Cold Blooded Vault in Fortnite

For starters, it's helpful to know what the locations that contain Cold Blooded Vaults are, and those are Shattered Slabs, Brutal Bastion, and Faulty Splits. Each of these locations will be a popular drop spot over the duration of the Most Wanted event, so get ready to fight upon landing.

Claiming the location can be done by heading closer to the center of any of these locations and looking for the ring icon that has to be stood in to raise a flag. Claiming the location means filling this meter all the way, and that's going to be very difficult for anybody that's hot dropping at these spots. An easier method could be rotating into the location later on in the match when players are all looted up.

What are Cold Blooded Vaults in Fortnite?

The Cold Blooded Vaults are very important parts of the game during the Most Wanted event because they contain very powerful loot that could benefit solo players and entire squads alike. Much like the vaults from Fortnite's past, these need a keycard to open up that are dropped by the location's boss.

Although it takes several steps and a lot of time to get the vault open, not to mention fending off enemy teams while doing it, it's more than worth it in the end. A host of new Exotic weapons are found in the vaults including the powerful Heisted Accelerant Shotgun that increases movement speed as enemies are damaged with it.
