Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 has added a new set of weekly challenges; one of them requires you to complete a Train Heist and claim the Floating Island capture point. For those who are confused by this two-part challenge, here's how you can do this in Fortnite.
How to complete the Train Heist in Fortnite
One of the weekly challenges in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 needs you to complete a train heist and also claim the floating island capture point. This might seem difficult for a lot of players out there but it's pretty simple. It's a two-step challenge where you can complete the heist and claim the floating island in whichever order you prefer. The best part is you don't have to do the whole thing in a single match.
First things first, the train is constantly moving around the entire map, so landing on it can be a daunting task. It might seem challenging to find the train but believe me, it isn't as you simply need to time your drop. To do this, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- While you are in the battle bus, open the map, and see where the train is heading.
- Put a marker on its predicted path and then jump off the bus following the train.
- Open and close your glider according to the train's path to land directly on it.
- Upon landing, you will find a big Hack Chest just near the door.
- Interact with it, and a timer will appear at the bottom of your screen with the chest logo.
Once it's complete, you can collect the loot which for me included a Med Kit, Shield Potion, a Hammer Pump Shotgun, and a Cover Fire Hyper SMG.
With this, the first part of the challenge will be marked complete. You can see it on the top left-hand side of your screen in the Quests tab. While you are on the train, we recommend getting as much loot as possible but also be wary of your enemies. The train is currently a hotspot because of the great loot and challenge so you are likely to be attacked by plenty of opponents.

How to claim the Floating Island capture point in Fortnite
After completing the train heist, make your way to the Floating Loot Island. Remember that this island appears near the end of the game so you need to wait a while for it to spawn. Once you are there, hang on to the zipline or use the rifts below to get to the island. Keep in mind several players will contest this location, so you'll need to stay prepared for a fight. My suggestion is to carry a Ballistic Shield and a Grapple Blade in your inventory, as they can be exceptionally handy while fighting on the floating island.
Head to the capture point to activate the claim timer, and wait around the radius. Don't stand still while capturing this area as you'll be vulnerable against sneaky enemies. Use the Ballistic Shield to protect yourself from enemies that challenge you at close range. Similarly, use the Grapple Blade as a rotational tool to escape if you are outnumbered.
Just like the previous task, let the timer run its course, and keep an eye out for enemies lurking around. Once the timer is complete, you will get the loot which includes legendary, epic, and rare weapons along with various consumables.
After claiming the Capture Point, the second part of the challenge will be marked complete, and you will get 30,000 XP as a reward.
