Fortnite Week 7 quests for Chapter 5 Season 2 have finally gone live, and one of them requires you to find and accept Shadow Briefings. As usual, you'll rewarded with plenty of XP when you complete this challenge, so here's everything about Shadow Briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2.
What are Shadow Briefings in Fortnite
Shadow briefings are a new feature that debuted in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. They essentially look like a mini-computer placed on a small briefcase through which you can complete a range of objectives and earn rewards.
You will find five different types of Shadow Briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2:
- Bounty Shadow Briefings – Like Bounty Boards, this particular shadow briefing requires you to eliminate a specified player marked on the map.
- Supply Shadow Briefings – It spawns a supply drop nearby that you must loot within a given time displayed on the screen. As is tradition, you'll be rewarded with rare weapons and essential supplies if you manage to open the supply drop within the time limit.
- Treasure Shadow Briefings – This briefing marks two different locations on the map where you'll find buried treasures containing essential loot.
- Vehicle Shadow Briefings – Spawns a vehicle nearby, which you have to find and then drive for a certain distance within the given time. Completing the objective will reward you with plenty of gold bars.
- Waxen Wings Briefing – It's a race that requires you to achieve a number of checkpoints using flying wings. Unfortunately, you can't find this Shadow Briefing after Fortnite's elemental shrines update.
