How to get all new Medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 (Map Location)

Get all three Medallions from the Wasteland Warriors' bosses.

In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, you can defeat the Wasteland Warriors' bosses to obtain specific Medallions that boost various aspects. There are three different bosses located around the map and you must defeat them to obtain their special loot. Here's where to find and get all new Medallions in Fortnite.

The Wasteland Warriors' prowl the island in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, and you can fight three different bosses to collect their Medallions in-game. These bosses are located at their lairs at the new POIs, or you can encounter them riding in a convoy around the map guarded by the War Bus. I recommend checking the map to see the precise location of each Medallion (as shown in the image above) before jumping from the battle bus.

The Machinist

The Machinist boss' lair is located at the Redline Rig POI, but you'll often find this NPC patrolling the map in a convoy. The best way to defeat any boss convoy is to take control of the War Bus and quickly eliminate the smaller cars. Once that's done, you can target the boss's vehicle and damage it enough to force them out in the open. The Machinist throws down a laser turret that can deal significant damage. My suggestion would be to lure the boss away from the turret and engage them from cover.

If you are fighting this boss at the Redline Rig POI, make sure to obtain weapons and shields first as several opponents would aim to land at this location. I like to wait near the boss area to ambush players when they engage the boss. This way, you can get a few easy eliminations and defeat the boss to get the special loot. After defeating this boss at Redline Rig, use the Medallion to obtain the modded vehicle from the garage.

Rewards

Here are all the items you'll get for defeating The Machinist boss:

  • The Machinist's Medallion
    • Regenerate shields over time
  • The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle

The Machinist's Combat AR reminds me of the MK-Seven Assault Rifle from previous seasons, as it is the perfect gun to use for mid to long-range fights. This gun has a fast-fire rate, with minor bullet-drop over distance. Additionally, its magazine size, optic attachment, and easy-to-control recoil makes the Machinist's Combat AR a highly sought after weapon in every match.

Ringmaster Scarr

Ringmaster Scarr's lair is at the Nitrodome POI, however, you may find this exploring the map in a convoy. You can follow the same pattern to locate this boss as well, check for the icon on the map before jumping from the battle bus.

Defeating this boss at Nitrodome can be a daunting task since players prefer landing at this location. Search for weapons and shields quickly and make your way to the top of the structure. It is ideal to wait at the roof area as you can swing across using the jump rails. Jump into the top room once the boss spawns to engage at close range. I enjoyed using the Nitro Fist weapon against this boss as the compact arena provides little space to move around.

Rewards

Once defeated, these are the items you'll get from Ringmaster Scarr:

  • Ringmaster Scarr’s Medallion
    • Gives infinite ammo and buffs damage
  • Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt

Ringmaster Scarr's Boom Bolt is the best long-range weapon in-game this season. It deals additional explosive damage which can take out structures and damage vehicles massively. My recommendation would be to use this weapon from a distance to deal the maximum damage on enemies.

Megalo Don

Megalo Don's lair is at the Brutal Beachhead POI, and like other bosses you may find this one around the map in a convoy. This is the toughest boss in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, so you must be prepared before taking the fight. Fighting this boss at close range is not the best option as the mythic Nitro Fists can eliminate players within seconds.

If you are chasing down Megalo Don's convoy, take control of the War Bus, or damage the boss's car with your modded vehicle. I like to take over the War Bus as it provides decent fortification against enemies. Damage Megalo Don's convoy to force the boss outside. Keep items like Shockwave Grenades and Flowberry Fizz to move around swiftly during the fight to engage the boss from a distance.

Rewards

Here is what you obtain after eliminating Megalo Don:

  • Megalo Don’s Medallion
    • Gives infinite Nitro
  • Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists

Megalo Don's Medallion and the mythic Nitro Fists allow you to chase down enemies easily across the map. The mythic melee weapon also allows you to traverse around the map easily, and it deals most damage at close range. I recommend using it in the end-game to reposition and fight enemies up close.
