The Spider-Verse collaboration has arrived in Fortnite, introducing Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 and bringing a new Web Shooter to the island. One of the Week 11 Quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 requires you to hit an opponent while airborne, and while it sounds easy, this challenge can be tricky to complete. Luckily I figured out how to complete this quest easily after some difficulty, and here's how you can hit an opponent while airborne in Fortnite.
How to complete the hit an opponent while airborne quest in Fortnite
The Week 11 Quests are now available in the game, and most will require the Spider-Verse Web Shooters to complete. You can also use it to complete the hit an opponent while airborne quest, as it fits right in with the Web Shooter mechanic. To hit an opponent while airborne, you need to gain height and shoot at the opponent before landing, but a specific weapon I found helped me a lot to complete this Fortnite quest.
You can do this through various methods. For instance, you can jump off grind rails and, before falling, hit the opponent with your weapon. Likewise, you can also use the Kinetic Blade to gain height and then shoot the opponent. I used the Spider-Verse Web Shooters to gain height and shot the opponent while descending from the swing, but the issue was finding the Web Shooters to begin with.

Getting airborne and hitting an opponent can be ridiculously tricky. I tried to complete this challenge with Assault Rifles and SMGs but didn't find any luck, as most of my shots would land far from the target. Naturally, I switched to a Shotgun and completed the challenge within a few seconds. The trick is to aim the Shotgun slightly above the opponent's head height while airborne and fire it as you descend. Doing this will strike the opponent, and you will complete the Week 11 Quest.
