Power Cell is a new material that you can use to fuel your vehicles in the LEGO Fortnite v29.10 update. However, you'll need to craft this material first, which is why I've put together this guide to help you make Power Cells in LEGO Fortnite.
How to craft the Power Cell recipe in LEGO Fortnite
Before you collect ingredients to craft a Power Cell in LEGO Fortnite, you'll need to unlock its recipe. The only way to do that is by crafting a Compost Bin by collecting 5x Planks, 2x Soil, 1x Sand, and 3x Fertilizers. Once you have all the materials, you can make a Compost Bin from the build menu and use it to make Biomass by depositing meat.
After following these instructions carefully, the Power Cell recipe will finally unlock in the Crafting Bench.
Once the Power Cell recipe appears in the Crafting Bench menu, you can craft it using the following materials:
- 50x Biomass: Get this material from the Compost Bin
- 6x Glass: Deposit 15x Brightcore, 35x Obsidian Slabs, and 3x Blast Cores into Metal Smelter to get Glass.
However, during my playthrough, I found that crafting a Power Cell isn't possible at the base level of the crafting bench. After spending 3x Shells and 8x Planks, I managed to upgrade it to level 2 and build this new tool. So, if you want to power your vehicle right away, I suggest you gather these materials in advance.

How to use Power Cell in LEGO Fortnite
As mentioned earlier, the Power Cell is used to run vehicles in LEGO Fortnite. However, you can't directly use it in the game. Instead, you'll need to place a Power Center on your vehicle base, which basically boasts the capabilities to utilize a Power Cell. A small Power Center can be crafted using 3x Granite and 2x Cord.
Once you have a Power Cell in your inventory, stand close to your vehicle and hit the interaction button to deposit it into the Power Center.
