The Fortnite x Metallica crossover has finally gone live bringing a number of music stars including Lars Ulrich. If you're a huge fan of the Metallica band and have a few V-bucks to spare, here's how you can unlock Lars Ulrich's Outfit in Fortnite.
How to get Lars Ulrich skin in Fortnite
To unlock the Lars Ulrich skin in Fortnite, you have to buy the Fortnite Season 4 Festival Pass, which costs 1,800 V-bucks (around $16). Purchasing the pass will instantly unlock the Lars skin and grant you access to the Premium Reward Track as well.
However, the crossover is not limited to a single star as big names like Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield have also made their way to Fortnite. To unlock their skins, one must earn festival points by completing festival quests, which typically require you to play bass notes and perform certain music tracks.
Apart from this, you can also undertake Fortnite Festival’s Metallica Quests in order to unlock James's ESP Snakebyte Guitar and Robert's Warwick M72 Bass. These sequential Quests will be available until July 21, 2024 at 4 AM ET.
If you've purchased the Premium Reward Track, you'll then have the option to buy rewards from both tracks simultaneously. The "Buy Rewards" button appears at the bottom of the screen after you purchase the premium version, and from there, you can choose how many rewards you would like to buy.
Finally, it's important to note that the Season 4 Festival Pass free reward track items and Premium Reward Track items are not exclusive to the Pass, and they may become available in the Shop at a later date.
