How to use Stash Tent in Fortnite Chapter 3

Epic Games has added several new features and items to Fortnite in Chapter 3, Season 1. One new gameplay item is the Camp Tent. The new item has dual abilities that affect your current and future games. Sounds confusing? Don't worry it's, pretty simple.

The first ability of Tent allows you to heal yourself and your allies, helping you restore your lost HP. The second feature of the Tent enables you to stash any three-game items, like weapons and consumables, for future matches. To stash items inside a Tent, you will need to deploy a Tent and hold the game item in hand.

You can find Tents fairly easily in Fortnite. They are usually available inside chests, so search for all the chests in your landing location.

Stashing a Game Item Inside a Tent 

After finding a Tent, equip it using the key under which it is available. The Tent can be equipped anywhere on a flat terrain or surface. After making a tent, hold the item that you want to stash in your hand and select the Manage Tent option. Stash the game item, and it will no longer be present in your inventory.

As mentioned before, to heal inside a Tent, interact with the Tent (Press E) and Jump inside. You will recover HP slowly over time. Remember, the stashed items can be used in both current and future matches. For collecting your items in future matches, you’ll just need to find a new Tent in that match and equip it.
