Fortnite's film festival, Short Night, is back for the third year in a row, bringing seven animated short films, including several world premiere shows for players to enjoy. Players must know how to participate in the upcoming event with several frightening shows, lest they miss the festivities.
To watch the Shortnightmares, players can choose the Shortnitemares playlist from the menu and travel to the Shortnitemares Theater. From the theater, players can select one of seven rooms to enter. Each room plays a different short film, so take your pick of the film selection. Participating in Short Nite for 30 minutes or more nets players the Spray Matter spray for personal use. The event can be enjoyed alone or with several friends tagging along.
Players can even watch while playing a match thanks to the Picture-in-Picture setting added to the game to allow players to enjoy these spooky stories during their battle royales.
The Fortnite Shortnitemares event lasts from October 28, 2021, at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET to November 1, 2021, 3 PM PT/6 PM ET.
