With the Superman movie leading all of the hype, of course the excitement has spilled over to Fortnite with the amazing Superman skin in Fortnite, so here's how to unlock it early and what comes next in the superhero season.
How to Unlock Superman in Fortnite
For starters, the Superman skin in Fortnite is available on the Season 6 Chapter 3 Battlepass. To unlock Superman early, you can purchase the Battle Bundle for 1800 V-Bucks. This Bundle unlocks a total of 25 rewards instantly, which is useful if there is something you like on the pass but you don't want to grind for it.
However, if you've just bought the Regular Season Battlepass for 1000 V-Bucks, you'll have to wait for July 11, 2025 when Superman Rewards go live. You'll have a set of quests to complete in order to get all of the rewards on this mini-battlepass:
- Daily Flight (Glider)
- The Confrontation (Loading Screen)
- Gleaming Hope (Emote)
- Kryptonian Crest (Emote)
- Super Cape (Back Bling)
- Superman (Outfit)
Superman's Abilities in Fortnite
While the skin doesn't come with any special abilities, you will be able to gain all of Superman's powers in Battle Royale and Zero build matches by finding the Superman's Call crystal. It will spawn somewhere in a match and whoever finds it gets the ability to fly, heat vision, and superhuman strenght. However, if others take you down, you'll go back to a regular human (sadly) and rift to the battlefield.
Fortress of Solitude POI in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
If you've seen the movie (which was absolutely amazing, if you want to argue with me about it you can in the comments), then you'll definitely want to visit Superman's Fortress of Solitude. You can do so in the new season, where you'll be able to find Supes himself to offer you services for Gold Bars.
New Weapons and Boons in Superman Fortnite Update
Superman might have moved to the Fortress, but you can still find some goodies in the Tech Labs of Fortnite Academy:
- Unstable Bounce Grenade (Exotic) - a grenade which bounces multiple times and explodes on each bounce. Bouncy ball but make it dangerous!
- Unstable Thunderclap DMR (Exotic) - fires an explosive bullet every three shots that damages all nearby players.
- Surging Speed Boon - you sprint faster and consume less Energy. When you rank up, you'll have even more Energy. These can be found in the Tech Labs but also in the Chests.
