The next Fortnite collaboration has been announced, and it is with video game icon Pac-Man. Bandai Namco officially announced the Pac-Man and Fortnite collaboration on the Pac-Man Japanese website. The collaboration is a celebration of Pac-Man's 42nd Anniversary. The website describes that items with Pac-Man motifs will be coming to Fortnite as part of the collaboration, but no new Pac-Man skins were announced.
The Fortnite x Pac-Man collaboration will start on June 2, 2022. At the time of writing, we don't know what kind of accessories or cosmetics will be part of the cross-over. Oftentimes, collaborations in Fortnite include an outfit, a tool like a pickaxe, bling, and emotes. Since the website didn't specify a new skin, fans should expect mostly Pac-Man branded accessories. Given that Fortnite uses human models, Pac-Man's round body wouldn't work as a new outfit. However, we wouldn't be surprised if Fortnite includes clothing or tools with the Pac-Man logo.

Fortnite has made multiple high-profile collaborations throughout the years. The game has included skins based on characters from Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. Usually, when a big blockbuster movie is coming out, Fortnite will collaborate with that movie. For example, new Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch skins came out in time for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Fortnite has also done cross-overs with other video game franchises like Street Fighter.
Pac-Man officially turned 42 on May 22, and Bandai Namco has plans to celebrate his birthday in the coming weeks. Pac-Man branded products are on sale in multiple places, including the official Bandai Namco online store. The Pac-Man Museum+ collection is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 27. The collection will include 14 classic Pac-Man games like Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Land, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack, Pac-In-Time, Pac-Man Arcade, Pac-Man Battle Royale, and Pac-Man 256.
