Where is NPC #18 Mancake in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1?

He's back!

Fortnite has started Chapter 3 Season 1 with 20 new NPCs for us to find on the completely new island. Unlike previous season, a lot of these NPCs seemed to be grouped together, making it much easier to fill out the collection book.

Mancake, on the other hand, is going it alone. He is one of the few NPCs on the map who isn't near other NPCs, instead opting to stay in the Butter Barn like he did in Chapter 2 Season 5.

In the map above, you can see that Mancake is the Butter Barn on the southern half of the map. This landmark location is about halfway between Greasy Grove and Chonker's Speedway.

Because of the AI mechanics, Mancake might not spawn in every match that you play. This means you may have to play a few matches to find him. However, he will always be inside Butter Barn, so you won't need to go far to find him.

The easiest way to find an NPC once you have approached their approximate location is to look for the Chat Bubble icon on your minimap. This icon represents NPCs available nearby. Walk towards that icon, and you'll be able to find Mancake.
