Where to find the Buried Blue Coin in Retail Row in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 5

This quest brings back homage to the valuable XP coins from the last Season. Is this a not subtle hint that Epic might be bringing these back? If so, what a tease!

Where to find the Buried Blue Coin in Retail Row

To find the Buried Blue Coin in Retail Row in Fortnite, you, of course, must go to Retail Row, which helps to find the general location of the coin. However, finding the buried coin is another matter entirely. Luckily the game helps us by providing a blue glow upon getting closer to the buried location. Then hit it with your harvesting tool, and that's it!

First, head to Retail Row, and then head to the tree beside the yellow house at this location. When you draw nearer to the tree, you'll notice a blue glow emanating from a mound of dirt near it.

Once you are on top of the blue glow, all you have to do is dig up the coin with your harvesting weapon of choice and keep digging until the challenge says it has been completed! The odd thing is that you don't even have to pick up the blue coin once it has been dug up. It can just be left there, and the quest is still completed!
